JEFFERSON COUNTY CHAPTER of OHIO HORSEMAN'S COUNCIL.
We are located in Jefferson County Ohio.
We are a very small club but with the help of the Jefferson State Lake employees we keep the horse trails and horse camp at Jefferson State Lake Park in Richmond Oh. a wonderfull place to ride and camp.
We are hosting a Regional ride June 6th-7th and 8th. At Jefferson Lake State Park Hot dogs and fixings will be provided Friday night by the fire by the club. A potluck dinner will be after the ride on Satuday. Group ride will go out Satuday&Sunday mornings or ride on your own any time. May News Letter
We have cleared all the horse trails in the park. The park staff did a fine job on the trails. We have checked and cleared all the small trails the park does not take care of. The mud is not to bad for this time of year. Hope to see all of you in June for the ride.

New things coming to Jefferson State Lake
We are going to be putting up tie lines and hitching posts around the park. There will be one down by the shower house,at the restroom by the ballfield and some up in the horse rest area in the rear of the campground. We will need some volunteers to get these up so let us know if you can help.
Horse Trail Signs
The Park has gotten some horse trail signs from the state. These are color coded with a horse emblem on them. We have to put these out ourselves. Almost all the sign are up but we still have lots color tape to put up along the trails! Any volunteers call Jeff 740-632-3875
